Day Number 81

Today we drove out to the dealership we bought our expidition from!!! Only because they FINALLY got the lisence plates in! The temporary ones were only you know, 11 days expired! I am glad we didn't go out to get renewed temp  papers because that would have been a waste of a lot of gas!
I think the dealership we went to is out in Richardson!  But we got to drive through Downtown Dallas. I love being a passenger driving out there but I HATE being the driver. There are far too many crazy drivers!

I love Dallas!

Day Number 59

I think that I am going to post a self portrait today. I was going to get a haircut and  give myself a mini-makeover before doing it, but  I took this one and started playing around with it in photoshop and I like it so post it I shall!
I LOVE Vintage/Antique things. Especially photographs. I love the way they look and the history behind them.
I was just playing around in photoshop and added the grungy/vintage textures I had to this one. I love it.
On a side note. I may not be around much this weekend.
Tomorrow Jon is taking a half day off of work. My mom is taking the kids for friday night and Jon and I are going out on our first date in over a year. We intend to take full advantage of having no children so we are not likely to be home much. However, I will have my camera so I'll take pictures and post them on Monday.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Day Number 57

So day number 2 of walking to and from the school to get the kids was successful. I forgot how much I enjoyed the walk on a nice day.  Bella wasn't overly thrilled with the 40mph gusting winds though. I will admit they made walking a bit more resistance training than just walking.
I am thankful that the temperatures are still nice and not overly warm.

So sweet, I think I may just get a print of this and have it framed! They bring so many smiles into my life! I am so thankful for my family!

Oops...

I'm stressing out so much about Isabella's birthday party that I completely forgot to take a picture for today. I will try and make up for it tomorrow. Every birthday I do this. I put everything off until the last minute, then I stress out about it until the party is over. Something about having to make sure everything is perfect.
Surprisingly enough Amanda has been asking me to take her picture this week. So I am giddy because I have a concept in my mind that I would LOVE to put into photograph.

Day Number 50

Today was the very first time I got to see/hear Jon leading worship for the Kingdom Explorers!!! I was really excited! I didn't have nursery so I decided to go over and check it out! And Of course I took a picture:

The kids were mostly involved (It was one of those days when most of the regular kids weren't there) and there was a lot of action! so I wanted to catch that. Hence the motion blurs. I think it honestly gives the photo life!
Jon did such a good job! I definitly want to catch that worship again!

Day Number 47

I was at the church tonight, being wednesday night and all, and for the first time on a scheduled night of practices I was there before ANYONE else. So I decided to take a little stroll. It's so peacefull up there. It's one of my absolute favorite places to go and walk or mountain bike or well... just be.
Growing up I was always intimidated buy the towers there. I was afraid that if I came too close to the fence it would electricute me. Why?  I don't know,  perhaps it was the ginormous "Danger! Electric!Keep Out!" signs. But looking at it today I don't know. Still intimidating? Absolutely. But not as daunting I think. It's odd to think that those little power areas are so important to our daily lives.

Neither Jon or I could decide which version we liked better so I went with both.

Day Number 46

Bella and I met Jon for lunch. I love it so much when he is working close enough that we can meet up and eat together. It always makes the day pass faster.
Bell was so excited to see daddy all by herself, with out the interuption of the older kids. She was talkative, giggley and very expressive. She even ate most of her meal. Her siblings make it difficult when we go out with them. Bella gets distracted so easily. We had fun but she was definitly ready for her nap when we got home!

I know that I enjoyed Both of my older children at this age. It was difficult though I felt so overwhelmed. Amanda was abou tthe same age that Bella is now when Gabriel was born so I feel like I missed out on so much of their developement because I was so busy. It's been easier with Bella as she is home with me alone most of the day. The older kids get out of school at 3:20pm so I get to enjoy her and her "Bellaness" so much more because I am not so stressed. However, all three of them bring so much joy into my life I can't imagine any part of it with out them!

Day Number 45

Finally I am all caught up from the weekend! I worked on a couple of hairbow/head piece concepts in my mind. I think they came out pretty good!
It did not at all surprise me when Amanda asked to Model it for me. She's my camera ham!

It's not often that I like big giant bow like hair ornaments. But I have plans for this one. We'll see how the end result turns out!

This one is intended to go with the tutu that I made for Bella's 2 year Photos!

Day Number 44

After church I made my way along with Bella to find Jon. He leads praise and worchip for our children's ministry. So I knew just where to find him. I dropped Bella off and went to make sure I had cleaned up the nursery, came back to find that Jon had handed our almost2 year old a pair of drumsticks. I found her as shown:

Yep, Thats Jon cleaning up cords in the background.
Thanks for visiting!

Day Number 42

Bella's second Birthday is coming up and I have been wracking my brain of a fun Idea  for something she could wear for her photoshoot/birthday party. Today I decided I was going to search the web to make sure the concept I had was not someone else's  that I had seen and when I discovered I would not be copying someone else I went to work making the world's most adorable Tutu! I think that if I could get away with wearing one like it I would. Alas, I cannot so I shall not.  hehe. But Bella will Rock it out when the time comes. I plan to make a matching hairpiece and need to come up with something shirt-like. That can wait till tomorrow.

**Front**
(Please do not copy this. I worked hard for originality and I would like it to remain that way)

**Back**
( Please do not copy this. I worked hard for originality and I would like it to remain that way)
This little cutie is goin to look even more cute (IF thats even possible.)

I can't wait!

Day Number 41

Geez I didn't even think about taking pictures the past 2 days. Bella has been sick so photos have been the last thing from my mind!  But I will get back in the groove!
Amand came home with a "Family Project"  the other day. We had a build a mode, using geometric shapes. So Amanda being the little fantasyland girl that she is, wanted to build a castle! So thats what we did!

She helped me pick out the shapes and paint. I had to cut and use the hot glue gun though. We had fun! As with many of the afterschool things she brings home we end up doing them at the last minute and it never fails that its a rushed effort. But this one we were both happy with!

Day Number 38

WE had another birthday party today. This one was up on the mountain a.k.a. my church. I got a beautiful Texas sunset photo from the deck. I love it up there. It's so serene and gorgeous.
Its funny, The sun looked so much larger in real life than it does in the photo, It looked oversized.

Day Number 36

It's such a drizzly dreary day outside. You know what? I am loving it! I love how much the earth transforms under the cloud-filtered lighting and a few tiny raindrops. I love the atmosphere and the sound of the drops of water falling from the sky. I know most people see it as depressing. I see it as relaxing and peaceful! The only things that could make this morning better are a good book to curl up on the sofa with and a little bit of rolling thunder.
I took our dog out this morning and  ass I was walking up the sidewalk I noticed  these little Dandelions. I fell in love with how the misty drops of water transformed the fuzzy seeds into a more dense texture and I decided I absolutely had to take a picture.

I am so glad I noticed this!
Then I walked in to see this little cutie.

Who was in the middle of telling me "No Icture!" when I snapped this one!

Day Number 35

I seem to be in a funk. No starting sentance that I have written has sounded very good in my mind.  It probably doesn't help that my mind has been running full speed ahead for about 5 days now. I think i could use a good 5 month sleep. Consider it an extended hibernation.
Thankfully I am blessed with children who's radient smiles brighten my world that much more. They make me stop and appreciate my life that much more! Can you blame me?

I am very thankful for all three of my good lookin kiddos. Messy face and all!

Day Number 33

I took my camera with me to the hospital when we went to visit my friend. No I had no intention of taking pictures of her but you never know when something comes up. It gave me the opportunity to catch one of my daughter's mood changes. When she is tired it can switch within seconds. Example:
This was after she painted her window with tears and snot. I was uhhh, letting her express her artistic personality... umm yeah lets go with that.
Notice the tears, no tears then the "look at how cute I am" expressions. Yup. Thats my girl!

Day Number 32

Today was a good day. We ended up spending the afternoon with a family from church, good friends from church. The men ended up going to Guitar center to look at gear and us women stayed behind with the kids and watched movies. (I almost fell asleep on the sofa.)
This evening I went and  took care of the nursery for the evening service. My teenage friend Nina stayed in with me. It was plesant. I was able to keep my mind  off of other things for a little while.
Before service started I managed to snag a couple of after dark photos!

I love the look of night shots. They are a fun challenge as well!
Thanks for looking!

Day Number 30

Today was a really hard day emotionally and physically. I am kinda glad it is coming to an end. I am still sorting and editing my phtos from Wednesday. And Due to the events of today it only seems fitting in my mind to post a photo from that shoot.

The mama of this beautiful girl is in ICU currently. She had a brain aneurism last night and is not doing very well. She is a good friend of mine and my heart and prayers are with her and her family.

Day Number 29

I was forced to get out and play with my camera again today. I have been commissioned for a photo by a locally renown Artist. So I made my older two kids pose for me. They hated it. My son did not like the fact that I didn't want to take pictures of his face. (Yeah. You'll see.)  The photos actually came out better than I expected! My pouty son refused to coperate.

Day Number 27/ Day Number 28

Day Number 28:
I had a Photoshoot with Baby Sarah and she is precious!!!

Day Number 25/ Day Number 26

For today's photo we actually ventured away from home.
I went to "Town Square"  in Lancaster and took some pictures of Bella. Then we headed over to my mom's and had some coffee and cookies, I even took a few more pictures! We then packed up and Mom my sister and I went to Salvation Army to do a little thrift store shopping. I even found  a few good deals. We had a lot of fun and I definitely feel as though I have made up for my lack of picture yesterday.
Which by the way, I felt really bad. Yesterday was so insanely busy that I completely forgot to take a picture! So I took many today! I will post two here and Probably a couple on my Fanpage.

This is My Bella. I just love her so much! She is so stinkin' cute!

This is my sister Kyrie. I love her curly hair!!!

Thank you for visiting!
