Day 107... A rose...

I took pictures of some roses that hubby and the kids got me I posted one in my last blog. (I can't believe that once again it's been so long since I posted.) I had taken that rose and hung it upside down so it dried out nice and pretty. I finally untied it yesterday and took some pictures of it. I think it came out very nicely!

I just love all the color!!!

Days Number 93 - 96

I am so sorry. I seem to have just been totally unmotivated the past 10 days. I have hardly had the motivation to do much of anything! I have taken a couple pictures since my last so here we go!

Day Number 93

We had a playdate on Thursday and Bella got to play with her little friend Jayden. They are so cute together when they aren't fighting over the strollers! ^_^

This is My husband. He is the love of my life and my best friend. I can't imagine my life without him!

Yesterday Amanda was baptized. I am so proud of her! She continues to amaze me on a regular basis!

Day Number 72

I am so thankful that it is Friday!!! I am looking forward to this weekend!
We, the kids and I, have been walking home from school.  So far it's been about 3 or 4 days out of the week. But I am at a point where I really enjoy it. I get home feeling upbeat and energetic AND Its great quality time with the kids withought electronice to damper it. Not only all of that, but the kids are a bit more mellow most of the time because they have worked off most  of their pent up energy!!
 Today we were almost home. I was walking ahead of the older ones because they had stopped to observe something. Turns out that something was a baby bird who had fallen out of it's nest. Which would be no suprise considering how active it is! So, I have a baby chick to try and nurture. It's been so long since I helped my mom take care of misc animals. I really hope it makes it!

Day Number 65

Yesterday My mom took my to toni and guys to get my hair done! Once I get a halfway decent picture I will post it. I was gone the entire day yesterday and didn't really have an opportunity to take any pictures. Moving on.
  Today Bella and I spent the morning and early afternoon at my friend Sara's house. We always have a great time over there. Its nice for Bella to play with her boys who are her age and for me to have adult conversation with my friend.
 Bella decided to chase Chloe (Sara's  almost 1 year old daughter) around and periodically lay on top of her.  It was cute yet annoying all at the same time!But I did get pictures!!!

 Then Bella and I made a rushed trip home where I got the stroller out and put the Sleeping Bella into the stroller. We then took off to the school to pick up the big kids! We arrived just in time to see:

I wasn't the only one to notice either. The kids FLOCKED to him!

Then they were told to back off. Doesn't Chuckie look relieved?!

Day Number 62

I forgot to take a picture today so I snagged and edited one of the random unrelated pictures that I took yesterday!

Marc has one of those electric globes that you touch it and the electicity focuses on your touch? yeah woulda been a lot easier to explain had i kown what the darn thing was called!

Today was awesome, we had a spaggetti dinner at church and then we spent the day with some good friends from church. They took us to Babe's Chicken  later that evening. We went  back to their house and vegged out for a couple more hours before going hom to get the kids in bed!

I am so thankful for this entire weekend!!!



Day Number 61

 YAY! Today is my birthday!!! As Jon said today is my 1st 29th Birthday!!!  We managed to sleep in until 10:30!! WOW. Our dog woke us up with her whining. Thats ok, I will take what I can get. We watched the last episode from season 1 of 24. Amazing. Then we went and picked up my business cards and headed over to my mom's where I discovered that She and Jon had conspired against me and threw a surprise feast. EVERYTHING was Dr Pepper! The brisket had Dr Pepper BBQ sauce that my mom made from scratch. The cake had Dr Pepper in it the cookies had Dr Pepper in it even the jello salad was Dr Pepper! AMAZING! I know it might sound odd. but it really was awesome! Every recipe was developed by my mom (Marye' Audet-White).  I can  still taste it!

Day Number 60

Wow, tonight was amazing. Jon took a half day off from work. He came home and we got some sonic for lunch, then went and picked up the kids from school. From there we dropped the kids off with my mom. She is keeping all 3 of them tonight. Then, Jon took me to the Cheesecake Factory!!!

 I had never been! The food was amazing and the service was equally so, which is saying a lot. The decorations were elaborate. The restraunt was huge. I Totally want to go back!!! But it's going to be a while. We spent a bit more than planned but it was totally worth it! He took home half his meal and cheesecake and I took home 2/3 of mine. The sunset we saw as we walked out the doors of the restraunt was amazing!

After dinner we meandered around the mall a bit. I made my appt at Toni & Guys. Mom is treating me to a cut and color for my birthday. I am really excited! Then we saw Just Go With It! The movie was hillarious!
 

Day Number 58

Bella and I went out yesterday and I totally forgot I snagged  a picture of her before we left! She had put her Flipflops on and her sunglasses on and was headed for the door. I thought it was too cute!

Today I took my camera to the school. I usually try to but I also usually forget.  There are so many things that go on there that would be worth capturing in a photo. From teachers and kids and parents to Military Aircraft sightings. There is an Airforce base not far from my house. So It is not uncommon to see Jets practicing manuvers or the military helicopters transporting something from here to somewhere else.  The Jets are usually fairly unnerving to come across. Mainly because theres no warning before their roaring engines and speeds shake the house as they pass by!
  I got fairly lucky today. I took my camera with me and I saw 2 helicopters  but go figure I had the wrong lens on my camera so I had to very quickly switch them out and managed to get this before they were out of photographing range:

This was the only one I got and it's a bit out of focus. But it fascinates me all the same.

Day Number 57

 So day number 2 of walking to and from the school to get the kids was successful. I forgot how much I enjoyed the walk on a nice day.  Bella wasn't overly thrilled with the 40mph gusting winds though. I will admit they made walking a bit more resistance training than just walking.
  I am thankful that the temperatures are still nice and not overly warm.

So sweet, I think I may just get a print of this and have it framed! They bring so many smiles into my life! I am so thankful for my family!

Day Number 56

I took many pictures today but due to a certain little 2 year old who is currently sitting in my lap 2 hours after bed time I havn't even been able to look at them! I DID Manage to find one i was looking for and edit it with my little klingon child.
 Amanda had Chess Club today. I TOTALLY forgot about it until we had walked to the school and got Gabriel. So we sat outside for an hour and waited for her. I took my camera along for entertainment's sake.

Day Number 55

Yesterday was Bella's Birthday party! All of my hard work paid off! My house was clean. Food was made, and fun was had by all! It was all totally worth the hard work. Bella was overwhelmed! She was at one point carrying 2 cupcakes in one hand and simultaneously eating the icing off of both! I had a photo but somehow managed to lose it.

Day Number 54

 Today was Bella's birthday party! But I'm not going to post party pictures until tomorrow. BUT I did snag this one right before she blew out her candles! I am in love with the picture!

Day Number 53

I am still on my "Purge Cleaning" kick. I managed to put books on a shelf and even add a few photos into the mix! I am so proud of myself!
 I managed to say goodby to 3 space consuming items today. My craft table, don't worry it wasn't anything special it was just huge, and 2 tvs that were on the table and under the table. And actually my dining table is going bye bye tomorrow. Why you ask? Because it is large and round and we rarely use it anyway.
I am so proud of me!
My current goal is to transform my very cluttered "Dining Room" into a neat and organized space that allows my husbands guitar equipment and my craftiness/photography gear to co-exist. Difficult? Definitly! Impossible? Absolutely not! Am I doing to finish it before Saturday? Heck no! but at least I can try and make it into  a comfy uncluttered place for people to gather! I am excited!

Now If only I can declutter the space around the bookshelf and reorganize the contents of the closed space within the bookshelf!

Oops...

  I'm stressing out so much about Isabella's birthday party that I completely forgot to take a picture for today. I will try and make up for it tomorrow. Every birthday I do this. I put everything off until the last minute, then I stress out about it until the party is over. Something about having to make sure everything is perfect.
  Surprisingly enough Amanda has been asking me to take her picture this week. So I am giddy because I have a concept in my mind that I would LOVE to put into photograph.

Day Number 51

WOW I just realized I have surpassed 50 days of my photography challenge! That is INSANE! I don't think I've ever commited to something like this for so long. I am really excited!
  Now On to the photo.
 You may remember my being commissioned to take a photo of my kids under an umbrella? If not you can refresh your memory Here.
  Well believe it or not, the artist is one of my brothers. He needed to make so many copper plates for his college course. So he asked if I would take that photo so he could turn it into this:

I recieved it on Saturday so I wanted to frame it before it got torn up. Which is likely to happen when you a. forget to put things in a safe location and b. have children who have no concern to someone else's things. In my case, both apply.
  Doesn't it look great?! I am so proud of him! He is so talented!!!

On a side note, I finished editing Isabella's 2 year photos! They came out so nicely!
