Day Number 18

 Superbowl Sunday! What an exciting day for most people. Me? I could care less about the game it's self.  For me Super Bowl Sunday is a time of good food and fellowship with good friends! A friend of mine is on a dairy free diet. So I wanted to be creative and come up with something snacky that she would be able to enjoy along with everyone else! I ended up with two dishes for her. A dessert which is the photo of the day and a chicken dish. Both went over well with all others there!
  Today's Photo is of my mini cake. Entirely dairy free.

Day Number 4

 Today was the big face off between the Bears and the Packers. Not that I cared overly much. My husband however has to be the worlds biggest Chicago Bears fan. We have a friend who has to be the world's biggest Packers fan. What did we do? We went to the house of some really good friends which made a nice neutral territory.  The guys watched the game and the gals, well we had our own fun with goofiness and Photoshop while our children played outside in the warmish but still chilly 50 degree day. Unknown to us, with the water hose. Luckily no one was soaked.
  I was hoping to get a nice shot of the men cheering on their teams. Unfortunately that opportunity never came up. So I got a few pictures of the kids none of which came out overly awe-inspiring. Although they make nice memories. So I have 3 pictures for today.  Because, well they all have different aspects that I liked.
