Nothing like a steaming cup of chai on an icy, cold, sunless day. I swear it cheers me from the inside out. Although, there does not seem to be much cheering needed as I love a nice dreary day. It's the perfect sort of day to lay down on the sofa with a good book and do absolutely nothing at all. Or in my case at the moment, on the sofa with my laptop and my baby girl watching Despicable Me before we go pick up the older kids from school.
I have been contemplating for several days now whether or not I wanted to take the 365 day photography challenge. I have come to the conclusion that I am going to. I am really excited about it. I think that it will help me develop my photography skills and perhaps even help me gain a little confidence in my work and myself as a person.
For day 1 I took a picture of my oldest daughter.
It was fun! Unfortunately the lighting was really poor due to dark overcast sky.
