Ansel Adams is my photographic hero. While his photos are all landscapes in black and white, he is my inspiration. Growing up, my parents had a book that was full of Ansel Adams photographs. I remember as a child being fascinated with all the beauty he captured in his work and I wanted to be like him. I don't have the opportunity as often as I like to take photographs of the beautiful, dramatic shapes of the earth. My love for Mr. Adams work spurred a love of photography in many genres.
I am fascinated with vibrant colors, the dramatic effects of black and white, shapes and emotions. I love to capture them all into an artistic memory. Taking pictures of innocent newborns, curious toddlers, rambunctious children, couples and beautiful families is a passion for me. Can you blame me? Life is full of fun, adventure, emotion and memories and I love to capture it all.
A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety. ~Ansel Adams
